Wouldn't society be better if all people strove to be beautiful at all times?

I would prefer that my medical professionals stay away from the mind numbing soap operas and spend their time improving their skills, not their wardrobes. I don't want my doc or nurse wearing any sort of cologne or perfume as I am allergic. I don't care how much they pay for their clothes since they should be covered by a sparkling clean lab coat. Also, any medical professional who considers their patients to be beneath them is in the wrong profession.
