Why does my horse always fart when i brush her:P?

Whenever I brush on her butt area.. she lifts her tail and farts in my face:P It's quite hilarious.. but why does she do it? Is it from the brush 'stimulation'.. causing her to fart? lol Does your horse do anything weird like this?
